#26: At 19, Kaley Jones (she/her) found herself at a crossroads: one path led her to Mexico, where she could continue a life gripped by substance use disorder and dangerous circumstances; the other was the long, daunting journey toward sobriety — a journey that felt not only impossible, but one she didn't think she wanted.
Over 10 years later, Kaley now believes that choosing sobriety was the key to stepping into the fullest version of herself. Though it's been tough work, even grueling at times, she's reclaimed the life she once thought she wasn't worthy of.
