Come showcase your talent at our San Diego Phoenix Open Mic Night on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Akua Strong Mental Health & Addiction Treatment Center. Any and all talents welcome as long as you’re not breaking any laws and you’re 48+ hours sober. Spectators are also just as welcome! Sound equipment will be provided by our amazingly talented host and performer, Kenny Keane! Artists, poets, musicians, songwriters, comedians, karaokers, dancers, b-boys and b-girls, freestylers, rappers, and anything else that will make us smile, laugh, cheer, cry, chuckle, smirk, hoot, holler, and clap.
We have a guitar and keyboard you’re welcome to use, as well as a mic, guitar amp, cord, and music stand. Bring your instrument if you have one, sheet music, song lyrics, poetry, dance moves, jokes, open mind, support, and a great attitude.
